Marcelo was born in 1974, in the city of Ouro Fino, his father João Aparecido always lived on the farm and cultivated coffee. When Marcelo started helping his father in the fields, they owned 7,000 coffee trees, but over time his mother inherited his grandfather's land, which had 2 bushels of pasture. Marcelo and João prepared the land and planted more coffee. Today they have together around 26,000 coffee trees that are now under the cultivation of three generations, João Aparecido, his son Marcelo and his grandson Miguel.
