Juliano was born in 1975, and has lived his entire life in the same place he still lives today. His father produced vegetables and raised dairy cattle until Juliano was born, but in 1973, two years before Juliano was born, he started growing coffee on his land. Juliano started helping his father in the fields at the age of 18. He inherited the farm from his father, at the age of 24 he got married and started planting and growing his own crops. Today he has 15,000 coffee trees on his land. The land is in mountainous regions and Juliano has adopted a different system to take his coffees from the farm to the yard, the bags slide down the hills.
