Francisco was born in 1966, in the city of Monte Sião (MG), his father already cultivated coffee and had an area of ​​5 bushels with approximately 5000 coffee trees. In 1978, his mother inherited a farm where they moved, with an area of ​​12 bushels of land, but it did not have coffee trees, meaning that his father had to start farming from scratch. 6000 coffee trees were planted. As soon as Francisco reached a suitable age, he began helping his father on the farm and learning all the techniques for growing coffee. In 1982, they sold this land and bought another piece of land with an area of ​​26 bushels, where Francisco planted 3000 trees and his father planted another 3000, totaling a crop with 6000 coffee trees. Francisco got married in 1991 and in 1996 he returned to live in Monte Sião. Today he has 8.5 bushels of coffee, with a crop made up of 14 thousand coffee trees, which he unfortunately takes care of alone, after the death of his father.
